2010 CAR WASH FUNDRAISER
The Irondequoit High School Girls JV and Varsity Volleyball hosted their annual fundraising car wash in front of Dake Junior High School on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Collectively, the girls raised $1,217.25 to be used to cover the 2010 Irondequoit Girls Volleyball season expenses including warm-up t-shirts, senior night festivities, end-of-season banquet, community service participation and tournaments.
Also, during the car wash, girls collected 11 bags of food for donation to the Irondequoit Food Cupboard. The girls will continue collecting canned and boxed pantry-type foods throughout the season. A collection bin will be available at each of their home games.
